Members of the Cottekill Volunteer Fire Company arrived to find heavy fire on the second floor of a small barn Thursday night. The first units where on scene within five minutes of being called. Their efforts with the assistance of the High Falls and Stone Ridge Fire Companies were able to bring the fire under control quickley. The video below shows what firefighters had to deal with and the subsequent photos show an impressive save.

Chief Brad Fiore would like to thank each and every volunteer who came out from their homes to help. Neighboring Companies that were called on the 2nd Alarm were Bloomington, Marbletown, Rosendale and Marbletown First Aid. The fire is still under investigation by the Ulster County Fire Investigation Unit, Rosendale Police and the NYS Police.
